BRITNY FOX Bassist To Appear In 'Incest Death Squad' Film

March 29, 2009

BRITNY FOX bassist Billy Childs has signed on to appear in writer/director Cory J. Udler's film "Incest Death Squad". The movie started production in early March (filming scenes in Chicago with Troma president Lloyd Kaufman, horror starlets Elske McCain and Scarlet Salem and George Kosana of "Night of the Living Dead" fame) and will be shooting in the Spring Green and Madison areas through May.

Childs and BRITNY FOX gained success with their self-titled debut album in 1988, their 1989 follow-up "Boys In Heat" and their 1991 album "Bite Down Hard". Their debut album sold close to one million copies, and their tours with hard rock giants like POISON had the band performing to more than 625,000 fans in 130 shows.

"BRITNY FOX has always been one of my favorite bands, and Billy is one of the greatest guys I've ever met," said Udler, who has been friends with Childs for some time. "It's a serious thrill to have him in the movie, and his scene in the film is hilarious, and a little frightening at the same time."

Udler says that the scenes with Childs will be shot when BRITNY FOX makes its tour stops in Wisconsin between April 30 and May 4, 2009. BRITNY FOX is performing at Route 15 in Greenville, Wisconsin on April 30 and at Vnuk's Lounge in Cudahy on May 2.

Udler is hoping to have "Incest Death Squad" ready for release by late summer of 2009. The film also stars local actors Carmella Weise, Greg Johnson and Melissa Murphy in addition to international stars Lloyd Kaufman, Elske McCain, George Kosana and Scarlet Salem.
